Eva, Heinz and Mutti (mother) settle temporarily in Belgium,
while Pappy is living and working in Amsterdam. Finally they are
reunited

The Geiringers establish a new home in Amsterdam. Eva and Heinz
are enrolled in school, and life begins to feel normal again

From Danger
The Geiringers are forced into hiding after the Nazi invasion of

The Geiringers are betrayed and imprisoned for being Jewish

Eva marries has a family. Mutti marries Otto Frank. Eventually
